Physical Requirement Criteria SSC CPO Sub Inspector Examination

Physical Criteria in SSC CPO examination is as important as Breathing for Survive. As we can’t survive if we stop breathing, similarly you can’t be appointed as Sub Inspector or Assistant Sub-Inspector through SSC CPO examination no matter how much you score in examination or whoever known is on higher post. Even if your height is 1 cm less than the required height, you would be not eligible for Paper 2.

There are many students who prepare hard for Paper 1 and score high but unable to clear Physical Standard requirements of SSC CPO examination. All Preparations vanished just because of unable to match Physical Standard. This is the first thing which you should consider before filling SSC CPO Examination otherwise your preparation as well as fees would be wasted. Here, we will go through all physical requirements for Male as well as Female which are main Physical Requirement Criteria SSC CPO Sub Inspector Examination.

Physical Requirement Criteria SSC CPO Sub Inspector Examination for Male as well as Female

In male, Height as well as Chest expansion is required while for female, Height is the only Criteria. As you can check out below chart, Both Criteria are clearly written. Some relaxation is also given to special category of students. These criteria are to be strictly followed by the Physical Trainers and no Relaxation after these criteria is given to any class of students.

Above discussed are just Physical Standards for taking PET ( Physical Endurance Test).

In PET, You have to go through all below discussed rounds;

PET Standard Rounds

For Male;

a) 100 meters race in 16 seconds

b) 6 Kms race in 6.5 minutes

c) Long Jump : 3.65 metres in 3 chances

d) High Jump : 1.2 metres in 3 chances

e) Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 metres in 3 chances

For Female;

  1. a) 100 metres race in 18 seconds
  2. b) 800 metres race in 4 minutes
  3. c) Long Jump: 2.7 metres (9 feet) in 3 chances.
  4. d) High Jump : 0.9 metres (3 feet) in 3 chances

 There is no standard Chart of SSC for weight. Weight should be corresponding to Standard Height.

Medical Standard

Aspirant minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes without correction or we can say without wearing of Glasses.

Whoever suffering from any type of Knock Knee, Flat foot, Varicose vein or Squint in eyes Defects are strictly not allowed for SSC CPO Exam post.

After passing though all PET, Finally you have to pass from below 7 obstacles.

i) Jumping over the Vertical Board;

ii) Holding the rope on jumping from the Board.

iii) Tarzan Swing;

iv) Jumping on the Horizontal Board;

v) Parallel Rope;

vi) Monkey Crawl;

vii) Vertical Rope

If anyone found unable to do so, they would be rejected on the Spot. No Second Chance is allowed in any of the event.
