Job Profile of Traffic Apprentice:

Traffic Apprentice is Multi-Tasking Job where your main work is to handle Transportation (Operations) Branch. RRB for which you are working, you have to handle their Operational work of the Transpiration Department. This post is sub divided into many categories like Section Controllers, Station Masters, Yard Masters and Traffic Inspectors. Initially 2 years would be in training and you have to handle all different categories for short intervals of time.  After completion of training, you have to handle any department on a Senior Post independently.

You would be eligible for the Scale of Grade pay 4200.

Job Profile of Commercial Apprentice:

As its name suggests, Job profile is related to the commercial activities. This job is also multitasking. Initially, you have to handle all commercial activities like Commercial Inspectors, Claims Inspectors, Rates Inspectors, Chief Booking/Parcel/Goods Clerks. You will undergo two years for training and after that you have to handle out any department independently.

You would be eligible for the Scale of Grade pay 4200.

Job Profile of Enquiry cum Reservation Clerk:

This post is little bit different from above posts; Job profile is monotonous. Main Job profile is to issue Computerized Reservation tickets to passengers and handle their enquiries regarding planning for their Journey. This post is preferred for Females because it is total indoor job and you are sitting in A.C rooms handling Passengers queries. This post is available in two shifts on alternate days. If you are appointed on less crowded places; it is possible that your job timing is fix and there is no problem related to alternate days service.

You would be eligible for the Scale of Grade pay 2800.

Job Profile of Goods Guard:

This is multi tasking job. As its name suggests, he has to take care of Goods of passengers or we can say safety is the first objective of Goods Guard. Loading as well as unloading of Goods in Train is observed by the Goods guard and it is his primary responsibility to save and secure goods. Their duty is also in shifts but it is responsibility of Goods Guard to make sure that whether goods had reached destination safely or not. Good Guard are just like Soldiers in Army as Soldiers Primary job is to take care the Border so that Our life could be saved in the same way their main objective is to safe landing of Goods. This job requires hard working attitude as well as person who can handle mental strength for a long time. Duty timing is only of 8 hours but these 8 hours are really hard to spend during job timing. You will be given training for first 45 days of job and this training includes General Rules, Goods , Coaching theory and Railway Commercial rules.

Promotion Structure of Goods Guard:

Initially, you would be appointed as the Passenger Guard. After that there are two different types of promotions possible. Either you would be appointed as the Express guard or you would be appointed as the Section Controller. In case of appointed as the Section Controller, Further promotion would be on Chief Controller post. In case if you want to higher promotion, you can apply for LDCE Exams which help you to get appointed in Group B Gazetted Posts of Assistant Opertions Manager(AOM).

Salary of Goods Guard:

 Initially, You would be eligible for the Scale of Grade pay 4200.

Job Profile of Junior accounts Assistant Cum Typist:

As its name suggests, Job is to handle accounts work and most work related to typing. This job is totally indoor and preferably for the Females. You would be appointed in the Finance and accounts Department. Future Promotion is possible in Accounts Officer.

As you would be appointed in the Grade pay scale of Rs. 2800; initially take home salary after deduction would be Rs. 22954.

Job Profile of Assistant Station Master:

You are the assistant of station master and handle in Station master Work. Job duties includes planning of day, Operates singles and ensure everyone that everything is going right. In case of more crowded stations, 2 ASM is possible.
