As this is the first time IBPS is taking prelims exam for the main exam,; SO everyone is curious to know what type of questions they will ask and how much questions need to attempt for the main exam of IBPS 2015 Main Exam. Last month, SBI has already followed this pattern so we could take a estimation that what type of questions IBPS would ask and what would be the Cut off.
We already share the SBI PO Prelims cut off; now it is time to analyze questions which were asked in SBi-PO Prelims Exam;
Analysis of SBI PO 2015 questions asked from different – different Portion
- 5 questions were from the number series portion
E.g; 1,2,4,7,10,14 ??
What Would be the next number ?
Ans. 15 ( As we can see, numbers are getting added in ascending order. )
- Data Interpretation ( 10 questions )
Simply, they provide you data in the paragraph and you have to solve given questions by following data of the paragraph. It is scoring If you have good aptitude skills.
Remaining questions were from the Allegation, Profit Loss, time and work as well as from the % Portion.
- Reasoning Portion
This is also a scoring portion if you can solve question in less time which is totally depends upon the practice that why we suggest you to practice as much as soon. It is only key to success.
Reasoning Portion includes mixture of questions from different topics like Blood relation, Sitting arrangement (Paragraph of 5 marks), Syllogism, Inequality etc.
This is little bit typical questions; sometimes it is so easy that it takes you in the topper list while sometimes you are not able to qualify for the Cut off marks. So, try this portion with precautions.
It includes questions pattern like this;
- Cloze Test ( 5 Questions )
- Sentence Rearrangement ( 5 questions )
- Spotting Error ( 5 questions )
- Fill in the Blanks ( 5 questions )
