They mentioned that Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police carries pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 in Pay Band 2 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200. Basic Pay (B.P) = Rs. 9300
Grade pay (G.P) = Rs. 4200
Travelling allowance (T.A) = Rs.1600 (Applicable to some exceptional posts only)
Net payable= B.P+G.P+T.A
= Rs. 15100
Dearness Allowance = 119 % of Net Payable ( Fix for all Grades and States )
= 119 % of Rs. 15100
= Rs. 17969
House Rent Allowance (HRA) = 30 % of Net Payable ( Varies from State to state)
= Rs. 4530
Total Payable salary= Net Payable + D.A + HRA
= Rs. 37599
10 % of your total amount would be added in PF account also by Govt. on behalf of you.
This is the amount which should be payable to you. But, there would be dedcution of 10 % which would be added to your PF amount .
